Making the Childbirth Decisions

“Why is it still controversial to say that women should make the decisions about childbirth?”

Just this week I had one of my “moms” tell me that when she told her OB that she would be using HypnoBirthing Techniques for her birth, he smiled–that smile–and said, “Listen, I’ve been doing this for 25 years and you just need to trust me and let me do my job.”

What about giving this mom’s body the chance to do it’s job?

You know, the job her body was created to do?

Sheesh.
